Battling Through Hardships

So I have come across some tough times in business. I have amassed a decent sized down-line of about 20 people. Some would say that would be a good thing, and although it is...it hurts your commissions when key people in your first level stop working at it and you keep losing promotions. A big down-line is just dead weight if it is filled with stagnant bodies. So, seeing that it takes more that I thought to run this business, I have decided to find something "not so hard" to do. Reason being is that I am living in Germany and require something that can be done worldwide. It is tough to offer so many great services to people not in the U.S. to enjoy them.

I have found a great starter company called "Xplocial" and it has delivered pretty decently. I will continue to offer the discounts they provide for everything and it has an extremely low startup cost of just $29 for the Gold membership and provides 100% commissions. This is hard to beat and I have joined a great team that provides paid sign-ups to the members. You can make great money with less people. Once this brings in enough, than I will be able travel to the U.S. and continue to push my 5LINX business.

Been in a week and things are going good so far!

Been A While...

I know it has been a while, but I have been pretty busy these past few weeks. School, work and the family have been keeping me running around a lot, but like anything in life, you always have to make time for the things you really want to do, not matter how much you have on your plate. A quote that was said during someone's promotion speech to SVP, Micheal Davis, said "Life won't pause so you can build you business!"

So, since the last time I posted, I have added about 16 people to my team and two have quit due to personal issues and inability to break away from their daily routines. I can't cry, that is just life, some people cannot realize what they are doing is just chasing their tails day in and day out. The notion of "9-5 till I'm 65" is no longer a valid way of thinking. This is something that started during the industrial revolution, but died out after companies started to screw their people over and shifted labor to Asia.

For those of you that are happy with your day job and think that you are safe with your pension awaiting your old age, good for you. But I don't buy it! The average wage has not risen as much when compared to the cost of living, taxes, and general bills. Saving accounts are now super worthless, with most banks only offering less than a percent, 0.5% at best for those in the military serving overseas and unable to access the other few banks that offer 1% interest. A million dollars in a savings account now would not let you live on the interest alone anymore, that would leave you with less than $500 a month.

Having Multiple Streams of Income (MSI) is what people need to learn to look for. Job Security is a fallacy to make people believe that they are safe in a job, with mediocre wages and an average pension/benefits plan. Job Security is no longer a secure thing anymore, not even military members are safe. With the blunders made by Congress and the same people hired to represent the people and make sure they are looked out for  are the same people that have created the mess we are in. So having just one paycheck does not make you financially independent anymore, mostly because you are dependent of that job. If that job was to let you go, then what? How long can you survive without having a job?

I have been reading a few books about how to break free and how to walk the path you think is right for you. What ever venture you think fits you best, it is better to start doing it now then wait till never to begin.
